Global markets

Export from India to Europe

European buyers typically work to the tightest documentation standards of any market we serve. Compliance evidence, product documentation and packaging declarations are agreed as part of the quotation rather than assembled after an order is placed — which is the point at which a consignment usually runs into trouble.

We ask European buyers for the specification they buy against in writing, together with any conformity documentation their own customers or authorities require. Where a requirement cannot be supported to that standard, we say so before quoting rather than after shipping.

Working into Europe

Documentation agreed up front

Commercial invoice, packing list and bill of lading accompany every consignment. Certificates of origin, product documentation and material safety data sheets are prepared where the product and destination require them — confirm what your import process needs at enquiry stage so it is built into the quotation.

Specification in writing

We quote European enquiries against a written specification rather than a product name. Send the grade, standard or datasheet you buy against, and we will confirm whether it can be met before committing to a price.

Chemical and food consignments

These two categories carry the heaviest compliance requirements into Europe. Tell us the destination country early — what is supportable differs, and we would rather establish that before you spend time on a specification we cannot ship.

Shipping to Europe?

Send your product requirement together with the quantity, packaging preference and destination port. We will review it and respond with the appropriate supply options.
